Career preparation becomes more useful when students understand the skills a role requires and have a clear way to practise them.

Arivoo’s Career Counselling agent, designed for Arivoo’s Placement Module, connects role requirements with skill awareness, assessments and interview practice.

Explore roles through their required skills

The agent works with job descriptions added by a placement administrator, either through a supported URL or manual upload. AI helps identify role details, suggest skills and map similar job titles to a shared role. Administrators review and confirm the proposed information before it is published.

Students can explore role information, see relevant skills and identify gaps between a role’s requirements and their own skill profile. Depending on deployment mode, that profile can draw on completed courses and Programme Outcomes or be developed through conversational input.

Practise, reflect and improve

Students can take a role-focused skill assessment and review performance by skill. The experience also includes a psychometric exercise intended to provide indicative self-insight, rather than a clinical verdict or a validated psychological assessment.

A voice-based mock interview gives students an opportunity to practise answering questions for a selected role. The planned experience includes feedback across technical skills, psychometric competency and communication. Delivery-related observations are intended as coaching feedback and do not determine the interview score.
